Fafa Premium Resort, Golem, near Durr\u00ebs, Albania
Vered Holidays was pleased to offer a new destination for Sukkot 2023: the Fafa Premium Resort in Albania, on Southeastern Europe's Balkan Peninsula. Albania is a small country with Adriatic and Ionian coastlines and an interior crossed by the Albanian Alps, home to many castles and archaeological sites. Its capital, Tirana, centers on the sprawling Skanderbeg Square, home to the National History Museum and the frescoed Et'hem Bey Mosque.
Fafa Premium Resort offered stunning sea and land views, with luxury rooms tastefully decorated in an elegant style with neutral colors and modern furniture. Every room featured a sea or land view, air conditioning, a minibar, a safe box, an LCD TV, key-card access, and a hairdryer. The resort sits within the town of Golem, near Durr\u00ebs, designed to blend into the style and community of the town.
The vacation was organized by Vered Holidays under the management of Yehuda Vered, marking the company's 23rd year specializing in organizing quality kosher vacations. The kashrut was Glatt Kosher Mehadrin, under the supervision of Rabbi Abraham Weintraub.
Full board gourmet meals were served with fine French wines and beverages. The lobby bar was open day and night, with an afternoon sweet table, and lunch-boxes provided for Chol Hamoed activities. Guests also enjoyed our famously rich Israeli breakfast.
Guests enriched their spirit with fascinating lectures and shiurim throughout the Sukkot vacation.
A spectacular folklore evening featured local music and dance, alongside optional Chol Hamoed excursions (available for an extra charge) exploring the beauty of Albania.
The nearest airport was Tirana (TIA), with Podgorica, Montenegro (TGD) offered as an alternative landing airport.
